Jesus is the victorious King, and His cross was victorious in every way. The cry of Heaven and every saved person is the cry of triumph. We celebrate Jesus' victory because it is our victory. In Christ we have been forgiven, raised from the dead, and made complete. The cry of Satan and every demonic foe is the cry of the defeated, capitulated, spoiled, crushed, and humiliated. Those who reject Jesus as savior will view the cross as a symbol of their own humiliation for all eternity just like Satan.
