Jesus Meets Our Deepest Needs

Bottom line: Jesus is sufficient to meet our deepest needs.

In Colossians 1:15, Paul begins quoting a hymn of praise which that affirms how the Lord Jesus Christ can meet all of our deepest needs. Nowhere else in all of Paul’s writings do Paul’s thoughts about Christ soar to such heights. Why? Because this passage we will look at today shares how Jesus meets the deepest needs of our lives. Jesus meets our need to know God, to know we're loved, to be forgiven, to be secure, to live with assurance.
