Thinking ORANGE
The concepts and principles which guide South Union are best described as a color--orange. Orange represents the idea that two forces working together will have exponentially more influence than either entity alone. For us, that means parents and church leaders working together to make a difference in the lives of children so that we can do more together than we do alone. This philosophy is woven into everything we do with our Children's and Student Ministries. Through emails, handouts, and media resources, parents will be connected with what their child is learning. This also will provide parents with an activity or discussion topic to continue that learning at home. We believe what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. This concept is key to orange thinking!

Age 4 through Kindergarten
STUDIO 101 is an exciting night for preschoolers and kindergartners. Each week is full of objects for kids to touch, wild and wiggly activities to get them moving, crafts they will love getting into, and real life situations they can relate to. Our goal is to help each child know without a doubt that...God made them...God loves them…Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
Club 252

1st through 5th Grade
Club252 is built around three basic truths every child should embrace, according to what Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man". Each basic truth is amplified by a weekly concept and systematically taught over a three-year period. The curriculum includes 36 core virtues that are the framework for each month. We want every child who participates in Club252 to grow up and say "…I need to make the wise choice...I can trust God no matter what...I should treat others the way I want to be treated."

During Sunday School, children will experience the truth of God’s Word through the timeless stories we all know and love. This will give them a firm foundation of faith that will last a lifetime.

Age 4 - 2nd Grade
Following Sunday School, children will enjoy a power packed time of worship and creativity as they navigate through the most important truths from God's Word.
First Steps
Nursery Ministry Age 0-3 yrs
Our fully staffed nursery exists to provide quality care and peace of mind. All staff and volunteers are screened and have submitted and cleared a full background check. Parents will also receive a personal pager just in case a need arises.
