Harvesting Thanksgiving

Bottom line – When we plant the truth of God’s Word in our minds concerning His salvation and goodness toward us, it will produce the fruit of thanksgiving. 

In Ps. 103, David speaks to himself and encourages himself to not forget the goodness of God in his life spiritually. God had forgiven him, redeemed him, healed him, crowned him with lovingkindness, and renewed his soul. Those five things are also truths in the life of every believer. If we will plant these truths in our hearts it will produce a harvest of thanksgiving.
