Sundays | 9:45 a.m. | Student Room

This weekly morning Bible study will address and answer life’s questions in a creative, relaxed and truthful way. This is a great time for students to come together and kick off their Sunday morning while learning biblical truths from the Word of God and enjoying some awesome donuts.

Sunday Nights | 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. | Youth Room

While totally different from our Sunday morning Bible study, this weekly Bible study will help students grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Wednesdays | 6:45 p.m. | Family Center

This weekly service is designed to keep up with the fast-paced Junior High and High School student by offering an energetic time that uses laughter, videos, live praise and worship and Bible study to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. Students are encouraged to bring a friend and “REFUEL” for the rest of the week.

All students are assigned to a D-Team (discipleship team) that is led by an adult leader. D-Teams are a great way for students to be poured into by older men and women who love Christ and desire for them to know Him more. These teams meet on Wednesday evenings, but they also have regular offsite activities. Our D-Team leaders are a primary contact person for your student.

If you have questions about any of these activities, please contact the church office.

The concepts and principles which guide South Union are best described as a color--orange. Orange represents the idea that two forces working together will have exponentially more influence than either entity alone. For us, that means parents and church leaders working together to make a difference in the lives of students so that we can do more together than we do alone. This philosophy is woven into everything we do with our Student Ministry.

Because students connect differently with their parents than children, we provide cues for parents and teens to have discussions with one another about what's being discussed in each series that we do at REFUEL. We also want to be a champion of the parent/teen relationship by providing an article with every series that you will receive by email or on our web page just for parents. We believe what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. This concept is key to orange thinking!

We want to fuel a passion in the life of each student for reaching the people in their life, in our world and for serving Jesus Christ. We believe that there are three things that every teenager needs to know by the time they graduate from student ministry and those three things are:

  • I am created to pursue an authentic relationship with my creator.
  • I belong to Jesus Christ and define who I am by what HE says.
  • I exist every day to demonstrate GOD's love to a broken world.
